Open matching
THE PRACTICAL GUIDE04 PARTS
01Getting in

Start with the matching screen

FaceFlow Live opens in a browser tab. Select Start talking to enter the matching experience. The app may ask you to sign in or finish account setup, depending on your current session. The matching screen offers video, audio, and text choices; select the one you want to use.

  • Open the site in a current browser on a phone or computer.
  • Choose a mode on the matching screen.
  • Look at the controls shown there before starting.
02Camera access

The browser asks before a video call

For video, the call flow needs your camera and microphone. When prompted, review the website name and choose whether to allow access. A denied permission can stop video matching from continuing; your browser settings let you change that decision later. Audio and text have different device needs.

  • Use a device with a working camera and microphone for video.
  • Check the browser prompt and your device privacy settings.
  • If access is blocked, follow our camera troubleshooting guide.
03In conversation

One person on the other side

The video matching flow is built for a one-on-one conversation. You can end a call and return to matching. The app also provides messaging and social features if you want to continue connecting after the first hello. Availability and account options can vary; the app screen shows what is currently offered.

04Your pace

A browser tab makes leaving simple

You can end the call in the app or leave the page. If someone makes you uncomfortable, use the available report or block controls and avoid sharing private details. Closing a tab is not the same as deleting your account; use the account and policy pages for those controls.

GOOD TO KNOWQUESTIONS & ANSWERS

A little more clarity.

Do I need to download an app?

The FaceFlow Live website and matching entry run in your browser. You do not need an app download just to open the web experience.

Will my camera turn on just because I opened the page?

Opening this guide does not start a video call. The video flow requests camera and microphone access when needed, and the browser controls that permission.

Can I use a phone browser?

The site is designed for mobile and desktop browsers. Camera and microphone behavior depends on your browser, device settings, and hardware.

Is every call guaranteed to connect?

No. Matching depends on current availability, device permissions, and network conditions. The matching screen is the best place to see the current state.
